London Catalyst is committed to transparency and we have decided to work with 360Giving to publish information about the grants we make.

360Giving is a leading charity that provides support for grant-makers to publish their grants data openly, to understand their data, and to use the data to create online tools that make grant-making more effective. Their motto is: “the more we know, the better grants we can make”. For more information about them, visit the 360Giving website.

Using the 360Giving data standard, our awarded grants since 2012 are available as an Excel spreadsheet here. We will update the data once a year.

This means anyone can now freely view information about the grants we have made since 2012. (Personal information, such as people’s names or the postcodes of home addresses, is not being shared publicly and never would be shared without prior permission.)

We believe that with better information, grant-makers can be more effective and strategic decision-makers.

Victor Willmott, our Director, says: “As a small grant-maker, our data on its own might not warrant much attention. However, by using 360Giving we can contribute to a higher standard of information which collectively informs and adds value to the wider charitable sector. We’re pleased to play our part in this very important initiative.”

If you have any questions about our open data approach, please get in touch.
