Sundial Centre

As a special initiative, in partnership with Peabody and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the charity helped establish the award winning Sundial Centre in Bethnal Green, a day care and resource centre for older people and their carers.

Opened in October 2000 the Sundial Centre is at the forefront of the provision of community based health and social care services for older people. It also provides extensive outreach into the local community and is a network hub for odler people's services in Tower Hamlets.

The Centre provides a wide range of social and health care services together with community activities in a purpose built comfortable and attractive building. It is a unique environment offering space and facilities to enable groups, specialist services and activities to flourish; including complementary therapies, healthy living, art and crafts, IT training, outings, cultural celebrations, intergenerational and reminiscence work.

This year is the Sundial's 10th Anniversary and a day of celebration and activity is planned on Thursday 7th October. Contact the Office for more details.
