Grants

For more details of our most recent grant recipients refer to our Report and Accounts.

We have three grant programmes :
Special Interest Grants - This is our main grant programme through which we want to support innovative projects that tackle health inequalities and the limiting effects of ill health, disability and poverty. Applications will be judged on how they could make a difference in an area of unmet need.

Samaritan Grants - These are grants available to social work and hospital teams, voluntary and community organisations, church and diocesan agencies working directly with and able to distribute one-off grants to people in need.

Small Grants – These grants will help set up, or develop health and social welfare projects in areas of high need and encourage greater co-operation between health agencies and community groups.

For more details of our most recent grant recipients, refer to our report and accounts and latest project reports.

Sundial Centre

In addition to providing grants, in partnership with the Peabody Trust and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the charity established the Sundial Centre in Bethnal Green, a day care and resource centre for older people and their carers. Read more about the Sundial Centre.
